The Ecology Center
Description: The Ecology Center is a regenerative organic certified farm in San Juan Capistrano. They focus on connecting a healthy community and reimagine the way we grow, produce and consume food with an ethical approach. Volunteer working on the farm, at the flower shop, the Eco Tots (children’s area), or their various festivals.

Newport Sea Base
Description: The Newport Sea Base is a nonprofit connected with the Boy Scouts of America that offers many different ocean based classes such as sailing, rowing, and canoeing. They have volunteer positions for experienced ocean explorers and training for those interested without the required skills.

Newport Bay Conservancy
Description: The Newport Bay Conservancy is an organization that is dedicated to saving Newport Bay. “We need enthusiastic and reliable individuals to get involved in restoration, education, outreach and research. We also need those who are more drawn to advocacy, watershed planning, community relations, fundraising, and other such activities.”

Orange County Coastkeeper
Description: The mission of OC Coastkeeper is to protect swimmable, drinkable, and fishable water and promote watershed resilience throughout our region. They host various fundraisers, beach cleanups, channel cleanups, and other events that are great for volunteers to get involved in and protect our coast.

Bracken’s Kitchen
Description: Bracken’s Kitchen recycles donated food products to make nutritious meals for those affected by food insecurity. Volunteers help in the kitchen, the packaging areas, and throughout the process of creating and distributing meals. This organization appreciates committed volunteers who truly care about their cause.

Clothing the Homeless
Description: Clothing the Homeless focuses on supplying those in need with basic necessities such as toiletries, blankets, clothing, and human interaction. Volunteers make direct connections with those they are helping and see the impacts of their kindness. This organization appreciates committed volunteers who truly care about their cause.
